About My Clients
The clients I work with are often deeply thoughtful, creative, sensitive, and exhausted from trying to fit into spaces that don’t fit them. They may be navigating traumas, neurodivergence, body image struggles, or identity questions around culture, gender, or sexuality. Many are functioning at full capacity on the outside and overwhelmed on the inside. Therapy becomes a place to slow down, reconnect, and heal without having to perform~
My Background and Approach
My work is rooted in a blend of Narrative, Relational-Cultural, and Feminist therapies, alongside EMDR and Brainspotting for deeper trauma processing. I believe our struggles do not exist in a vacuum; rather, they are shaped by family, culture, gender, migration, and systems of power. Together, we explore the stories you’ve learned about yourself and the world, especially those inherited around sacrifice, loyalty, and survival, and gently examine how they intersect with your own needs. Therapy with me is both reflective and experiential. We may use EMDR or Brainspotting to help your nervous system release what it’s been holding, while also building language, boundaries, and self-compassion that honor where you come from without erasing who you are. The goal is not to reject your roots, but to create a life that holds care for your (chosen) family, your culture, and yourself, without constant guilt, burnout, or self-abandonment.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am anti-Zionist, and I stand in solidarity with global liberation movements, including those calling for a free Palestine, Congo, Sudan, and all oppressed peoples. I believe our struggles are interconnected, and that none of us are free until all of us are free. My work is informed by feminist values that challenge systems of harm. I am deeply committed to LGBTQIA+ liberation and affirming care, including bodily autonomy, safety, and self-determination for queer and trans people. I am also passionate about supporting neurodivergent folks, and believe we deserve care that honors our identities and nervous systems without pathologizing or forcing conformity. I hold abolitionist values and do not believe prisons or punitive systems create healing or safety. Instead, I believe in justice rooted in care, accountability, and community-based repair.
