My specialty areas include depression, anxiety, the LGBTQ population, teenagers, college students, and adults.
My Background and Approach
My style of therapy is pretty laid back and conversational. I also try to incorporate humor into my practice as I believe therapy doesn’t have to be serious all the time! I use modern and evidence-based therapeutic techniques that are individualized toward my clients needs. If you’re trying to get back on track and if you enjoy working toward positive behavior change, I think we'd be a good fit!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a gay man and therapist, I care deeply about helping underserved, underrepresented and marginalized communities, and I believe that everyone should have access to affordable and quality mental healthcare. I also support organizations that fight social injustice, systemic racism, and oppression. I consider myself to be a progressive person by nature, but I also think it’s my duty not only as a therapist but as a person to educate myself on new issues that arise in society.
