My Background and Approach
Dijana (Deanna) is a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) who earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Iowa. She has worked in the field of social work since 2005 and has been providing psychotherapy since 2014. Dijana believes that therapy works best when clients feel safe, heard, and accepted. She takes a collaborative approach, meeting clients where they are while helping them build on their strengths, develop effective coping skills, and work toward meaningful change. She strives to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel empowered throughout their healing journey.
