About My Clients

Welcome! Are you struggling with major life transitions, stressors or challenges? Do you feel paralyzed by anxiety or worn down by depression? Maybe you are trying to figure how to adjust to major changes.. Or perhaps you are experiencing fear related to the state of the world. You are not alone; I know how heavy life can feel. Psychotherapy and mindfulness based techniques can help you make more sense of the world, all while focusing on your inner self.

My Background and Approach

By combining mindfulness and psychotherapy techniques, I can help you use your strengths to heal and feel more alive in the present moment. By focusing on your present needs, we can work together to find the tools that will best help you feel more in control of your life. Although the past does not exist anymore, we can't deny how much it affects our present. By helping you process past experiences, I can help you promote healing, understanding and compassion. We will also learn how to manage fear, increase motivation and confidence. One of my main goals is for you to feel more in control, and understand the differences between what you can and cannot control. By focusing on the most simple of tasks, you can slowly re-gain focus and attention. Mindfulness is a wonderful tool, and I have successfully implemented techniques to help many people who struggle with fear of the past, present and future.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

It's okay not to be okay! I believe that most of our suffering comes from faulty thinking or behaviors. By helping you address your thoughts and behaviors, you will notice gradual, positive changes in your life. People have the right to be treated with dignity, respect and compassion. I enjoy working with vulnerable population groups who face oppression and adversity because I know what it feels like to go through those challenges and struggles. You matter and have every right to exist. Something that has been helpful to me has been focusing on my strengths, resiliency and practicing mindfulness. By unlocking your strengths, you will be able to better manage your life and overcome challenges. But first, it's important to focus on increasing motivation and confidence.
