About My Clients
One of the bravest things you can do is begin to understand your own story. Part of our story is suffering. Emotional suffering may include anxiety, depression, grief, conflicts in relationships and trauma. As humans, we innately try to avoid suffering instead of confronting it. I want to guide you to understand, confront, and alleviate your suffering. The goal is to increase understanding of the self which leads to feelings of empowerment, courage, hope, meaningfulness and freedom.
My Background and Approach
I have 11+ yrs treating anxiety, depression, complicated grief/loss, trauma, substance use & co-occurring disorders, relationship conflicts, & infertility/pregnancy loss. I also specialize in being being a therapist's therapist and supervising new clinicians working towards state licensure. Most importantly, I know what it's like to be the client. I believe highly effective therapists do or have done their own therapy. I value being my most authentic self and believe my greatest strengths are my humanity and my ability to facilitate connection.
