About My Clients
She’s not a bad kid, but she wears you out. The school thinks she needs discipline and testing, but you feel like maybe she just needs help adjusting to life. Every time she gets in trouble at school by fighting or disrespecting adults, you wonder what you did wrong and how can you ever fix what’s broken before it’s too late. You’re losing your patience, but you also want to yell at everyone to just leave her alone; she’s still so little and she’s been through so much. You’re really trying.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Connecticut with a passion for working with kids 4 and up and their families. I have experience working with kids who have been exposed to all levels of trauma, as well as with individuals of all ages to treat eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and PTSD. I help you identify your strengths as parents to overcome your child’s behavioral difficulties related to stress and trauma. I use art and play therapy to help kids express their feelings and fears.

I work with the whole family to create structure and strategies that help take the pressure off of you as parents and start to enjoy family life again.
