About My Clients
Are you feeling overwhelmed and stressed about life? Relationships? The pandemic? Climate change? Have you experienced something difficult or traumatic? I focus on supporting life transitions, grief and loss, trauma healing, the LGBTQ2AI+ community, climate distress, and existential or spiritual concerns. If you are struggling, you are not alone and I am glad you are seeking support.
My Background and Approach
I practice relational, somatic counseling from a social justice lens that affirms your identities and centers liberation. I've been working and studying in the mental health and wellness fields for ten years. I have experience supporting people from a wide range of racial and ethnic backgrounds, people with intercultural lives and experiences, artists and creatives, neurodivergent folks, highly sensitive people, folks who identify as polyamorous or non-monogamous, sex workers, people with disabilities, people with chronic and/or critical illness, and people who have experienced all kinds of trauma.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I became a professional counselor after going through some difficult things in life and understanding how important it is to have support. I participate in trainings and programs that focus on transformative justice. I have been involved in both grassroots and international work. I am a queer therapist who is committed to unpacking my white skin privilege and creating anti-racist community. My spiritual orientation centers nature and earth, and I care about sustainability. I value connection and authenticity, prioritize humility, and feel that I always have more to learn.
