About My Clients
I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, life transitions and identity development, relationship issues, disordered eating, and cultural identity. Whether you have just begun to notice something is "off," or you have been struggling to "keep up appearances" for a long time, I can help bring clarity, tools, and a new perspective to the situation.
My Background and Approach
One of my primary goals is to empower my clients-- to help people feel ready and able to try different things, and create the lives they'd like to see. My approach is tailored to each individual client, drawing from a variety of evidence-based methods. Because there is no one-size-fits-all treatment, we will work together to determine what is working, and what needs to be adjusted to fit you better. We may build an understanding of how your history and previous experiences factor into your current struggles, how your thoughts and beliefs are impacting your emotions and actions, how our interactions are a reflection of other relationships or patterns, and how practicing new strategies and tools can help you better navigate your daily life. My hope is to give you the clarity and tools you need to create the changes you'd like to see, and to empower you to pursue those changes. I work and live in the Seattle, WA area, and am licensed with PsyPact, the inter-state psychologist credential.
