About My Clients
While talking and processing is absolutely a part of my sessions, the core of my work is solution-focused, goal-oriented, and interactive. Utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), self-compassion, trauma therapy interventions, somatic tools, and mindfulness tools I help clients better understand their thoughts and emotions, work towards goals, and navigate life changes/ transitions.
My Background and Approach
I believe in a collaborative and individualized approach to therapy where clients have space and support for self exploration and learn new coping skills. I use an eclectic approach drawing from Existential Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, CBT, and Solution Focused Therapy brief therapy and mindfulness interventions. I am also trained in eye movement desensitization (EMDR).
