About My Clients
I am fluent in English and Spanish. I work best with individuals who are navigating high levels of stress, emotional overwhelm, depression, anxiety, or life transitions, and who are seeking a thoughtful, supportive space to better understand themselves and regain stability. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling anxious, emotionally exhausted, or unsure how to cope with ongoing pressures related to family, work, relationships, or legal and immigration‑related circumstances.
My Background and Approach
I am trained in evidence-based modalities including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Trauma-Informed Care. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress-related concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, interpersonal challenges, and life transitions. My clinical practice is grounded in creating a safe, nonjudgmental, and supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences and work collaboratively toward meaningful goals. I prioritize honoring each client’s pace, autonomy, and best interests while fostering emotional growth and resilience.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
We’ll take the time to gently explore what’s been weighing on you and what you hope your life can look like—whether that’s a month from now, six months, or further down the road. At your pace, we’ll talk through possibilities and supportive strategies that feel realistic and manageable for you. Each session is meant to leave you feeling more understood, a little lighter, and with a clearer sense of what might help, including small steps you can take right away if you choose. Our work together is a shared process, grounded in trust, openness, and compassion, with plenty of space for feedback, encouragement, and mutual accountability as we move forward together.
