I like to use cognitive-behavioral as well as somatic approaches to address anxiety in a way that helps you gain skills that provide immediate relief as well as exploring the deeper issues that drive your symptoms.
Depression can be treated in a variety of ways, and together we will explore what's working, as well as what you may have tried in the past that was less effective. Our work together will ideally give you some skills and techniques you can take with you between sessions to give you a sense of empowerment over your own mood states, as well as exploring any underlying issues that relate to your symptoms.
I specialize in working with relationships and marriage issues in all of their complex forms. Our work together will likely focus on empowering you with excellent communication tools, learning ways to comfortably explore emotions, and developing skills in establishing and maintaining effective boundaries. This means you will feel confident in letting in the relationships you want, letting go of those that no longer serve you, and in growing the strong relationships you already have.
