About My Clients
I specialize in supporting adults facing life’s challenges, including anxiety and depression related to grief, major life transitions, relationship strain, complex family or social dynamics, caregiver stress, and immigration-related or cultural identity concerns. I offer therapy in both English and Spanish and welcome individuals from all backgrounds. Your story matters, and I’m here to help you gain clarity and confidence on your journey.
My Background and Approach
My approach is collaborative and tailored to your needs, integrating evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness/meditation practices, emotion regulation or distress tolerance techniques, trauma-informed care practices, and narrative therapy as appropriate. Above all, I strive to create a space rooted in safety, respect, empathy, and nonjudgment, where you feel validated and supported in your growth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My work is guided by the values of authenticity, inclusivity, and empowerment. I strongly believe that healing happens in spaces where individuals feel seen, heard, and understood. As a Latina clinician, I recognize the importance of culturally affirming therapy, especially for those who have felt unheard or misunderstood in traditional mental health settings. I aim to create an environment where vulnerability is met with compassion, and where clients can openly explore their identities, emotions, and life experiences without fear of judgment. My goal is not only to help clients develop coping skills but also to remind them of their inherent strength and resilience.
