About My Clients
Have you ever felt misunderstood, disconnected from yourself or others, or anxious about navigating life “correctly”? It can be overwhelming when your inner critic takes over. I work with young adults experiencing interpersonal conflict, life transitions, complex family dynamics, trauma, grief, depression, and anxiety. Whether you’re navigating a crisis, feeling stuck, or working on building a healthier relationship with yourself, therapy can provide a soft place to land.
My Background and Approach
We each carry a unique and ever-evolving narrative that shapes how we connect with ourselves, with others, and with the world. Therapy can help us create meaning from those stories. Together, we will explore alternate narratives about your past and present relationships, experiences, and identities, drawing on untold or overlooked strengths and resources. My practice is grounded in relational psychodynamic therapy, with the understanding that growth happens within the context of supportive relationships. Our goal will be to integrate your past and present into a healthier and more affirming narrative. I currently offer individual counseling sessions to adults of all ages virtually in Massachusetts and New York, as well as in-person in New York. As a South Asian therapist, I have extensive experience in working with clients of color and I am committed to providing a culturally attuned therapeutic space.
