About My Clients
I am passionate about working with relationships including families, couples, and those practicing consensual non-monogamy/polyamory. I also specialize in individual concerns including issues related to gender identity and sexual orientation, issues involving trauma and attachment, substance use, and pregnancy and postnatal struggles.
My Background and Approach
I earned my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas in 2015. I then pursued my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Friends University where I graduated in 2017. I was licensed in April of 2018 and achieved clinical licensure in January of 2020. I am also a Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor. Outside of private practice, I have provided therapy to clients at a domestic violence shelter, in community mental health, and in inpatient settings. I use a person-centered approach to therapy and regularly utilize emotion-focused therapy, attachment theory, and narrative therapy.
