My Background and Approach
Life’s challenges can often feel overwhelming, and my goal is to help lighten that load by focusing on your strengths and empowering you to overcome obstacles. My approach is open, empathetic, supportive, and direct, always centered on your unique needs. I use a variety of techniques, from cognitive approaches to somatic methods, depending on what fits you best. Together, we'll explore how your thoughts influence your feelings and behaviors, or work with your inner child to address unmet needs. My aim is to meet you where you are and provide the tools that support your healing. As an EMDR-trained therapist, I also use EMDR to help process past experiences that may be contributing to your emotional distress. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) reduces the intensity of negative beliefs and helps free you from the grip of self-critical thoughts. Ultimately, I’m here to help you find what works best for you and guide you toward lasting change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone has the right to self-determination and choosing their own path. I also believe in accepting and caring for individuals as they are, no matter their identified gender, race, religion, sexuality, body-abilities, or occupation.
