About My Clients
Over the years, I’ve worked with unhoused youth, teens involved in the juvenile justice system, and adults in addiction treatment programs. These experiences taught me that healing happens through genuine connection and feeling truly seen. I bring warmth, humor, and realness into every session.
My Background and Approach
I’m especially passionate about working with teens, children, and families. My goal is to create a space where people feel safe to be honest, explore what’s really going on, and find ways to move forward that feel authentic and doable. Having personally experienced what it’s like to feel disconnected or alone, I know how powerful it can be to have someone truly listen without judgment. In sessions, I’m not the kind of therapist who just nods and takes notes — I bring warmth, humor, and real connection into the room. I use a mix of approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Narrative Therapy, but I always tailor things to what works best for you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Outside of work, you’ll most likely find me outside — running trails, rock climbing, or getting lost in a good book. My favorite way to recharge is scuba diving with my family and exploring the ocean — encounters with sharks and jellyfish remind me how awe-inspiring and grounding nature can be.
