About My Clients
My ideal client is someone who is ready to begin the process of healing from complex trauma and is open to exploring the emotional and psychological patterns that impact their daily life. I work with adults and adolescents who have experienced prolonged or repeated trauma, including childhood abuse, neglect, interpersonal violence, and systemic oppression. Many of my clients struggle with symptoms such as anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, dissociation, and challenges in relationships
My Background and Approach
With a background rooted in clinical social work and a deep commitment to trauma-informed care, I bring years of experience supporting individuals through some of life’s most challenging emotional experiences. My professional journey has included working in community mental health, outpatient settings, and with diverse populations facing complex and chronic trauma. I approach therapy through a holistic, person-centered lens—honoring each client’s lived experience and cultural identity. My work integrates evidence-based modalities such as EMDR, somatic practices, trauma-focused CBT, and mindfulness-based interventions. I believe that healing happens within a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship, and I prioritize creating a space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered. My goal is to help each individual build emotional resilience, deepen self-awareness, and move toward lasting healing with compassion and intention.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As both a clinician and a person, I am deeply committed to creating inclusive and affirming spaces for healing. I believe that mental health is inseparable from the systemic factors that shape our lives. I believe in the power of community care, and I advocate for mental health access as a fundamental human right. Outside of my clinical work, I’m involved in community education around trauma and mental health, and I support organizations focused on equity, justice, and suicide prevention. I show up in this work not just as a therapist—but as a fellow human, dedicated to healing and liberation.
