About My Clients
Maybe these past few years have led you to pause and reflect a little about your health, sense of security, identity, and relationships. Many clients come to me with traumatic experiences that they struggle to make sense of or process. My aim is to serve those who belong to the LGBTQIA+ community, Neurodivergent folks, and BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color). I acknowledge, as individuals, we are experts of our own lives and stories.
My Background and Approach
My experiences as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker include working with individuals by providing psychoeducation on diagnoses and tailoring interventions to fit each individual's need. I am very much a "why person" and work to assist clients in understanding why people might think or behave certain ways that may no longer be serving them while helping individuals honor the strength it has taken them to come this far. My work is trauma-informed and person-centered. I have experience working with grief and traumatic loss, ADHD, Autism, and Generalized Anxiety. I acknowledge, as individuals, we are experts of our own lives and stories. I prioritize rapport building and creating a safe place to take up space and be yourself.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a member of the LGBTIA+ community. I have experience volunteering in schools and communities after they have been impacted by traumatic events. I am also an animal lover so this means you may get a glimpse of my fur babies during Telehealth appointments
