About My Clients
My specialty has been working with children, adolescents, and adults who have complex trauma that stem from abuse, neglect, or other life events. I have also worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, addiction, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, adjustment to life changes and grief/loss.
My Background and Approach
My counseling style is warm and approachable. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. I truly believe that rapport and therapeutic relationships are extremely important for therapy to be successful, therefore we will take some time to make sure I am the right fit for you and I will never be offended if you feel you need a different approach. It takes courage to take the steps to start counseling and I will honor and respect your journey through this season of life.
