As a Veteran, I served 12 years with a security background. I spent my last three years assigned as an imbedded resiliency trainer, unit victim advocate, and suicide prevention/intervention for deployed units. I have certifications in domestic violence intervention and child abuse prevention intervention.

I have extensive experience in helping clients manage depression within chronic and terminal illness (and their family caregivers), in clients undergoing stressful life transitions, and in Veterans and first responders as related to their career field.

I have extensive experience in helping clients manage anxiety, typically utilizing a cognitive-behavioral therapy modality. I have specialization in treating personal trauma and post-traumatic post disorder within varied treatment environments.

I used narrative therapy extensively with clients with personal and combat trauma and chronic illness/disability to help them re-claim their sense of identity and confidence in their ability amidst their social environment.

I've used this therapy modality extensively with Veterans/first responders and clients with established anxiety and depression to help them in regulating their nervous system and teach them methods to use these practices at home in combination with other therapy modalities.

I've used Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as my primary therapeutic modality in helping clients across various environments to help identify triggers to unwellness and educate them on understanding the link between thoughts, feelings and actions. My experience in this modality is mostly on those dealing with life transition (chronic health/disability, terminal illness, divorce/job loss) and clients with personal trauma background.
