About My Clients
Life transitions can feel overwhelming, especially when depression, anxiety, grief, or stress are part of the picture. My goal is to help clients make sense of these moments, reconnect with their strengths, and build the confidence needed to move forward. I bring a warm, outgoing presence to therapy — someone who will support you, challenge you, and hold you accountable in a way that feels safe and empowering. I offer both telehealth and in-person sessions
My Background and Approach
I bring sixteen years of experience across multiple mental health settings. This includes seven years in inpatient psychiatric care, eight years as a psychiatric screener supporting individuals in crisis, and four years as a behavioral and mental health case manager. I am also certified in Sex Education. I work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, and oppositional defiant disorder. My approach blends humanistic/person-centered therapy, CBT, and DBT, allowing clients to explore their emotions, shift unhelpful thoughts, and develop practical coping skills. You don’t have to navigate change alone. Together, we’ll explore what’s getting in your way, build tools that support your growth, and create a path toward the life you want. Your story matters, and I’m here to walk beside you as you write the next chapter.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I value an integrative approach that combines humanistic, person-centered therapy with cognitive behavioral therapy. As a therapist in training, I believe collaborative care is essential. CBT aligns with my action-oriented style because it encourages clients to apply what they learn through practical strategies, reflection, and skill-building between sessions.
