About My Clients
I specialize in treating children, adolescents, and young adults with a special focus on college-aged populations. I have considerable clinical experience working with neurodivergent populations including those clients with ADHD and Autism and develop treatment interventions to foster growth and development. I have sizable experience working with culturally diverse individuals, children, adolescents, young adults, couples and families.
My Background and Approach
I have worked in various communities and environments including mental health agencies, school districts, colleges and private practice. I received a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, MA, and a M.S. in Counseling Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in attachment theory from California Lutheran University, Thousand Oaks, CA.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have a family of my own with a wife from Cape Town, South Africa and three children that are either transitioning into college, are in college or have just graduated, so I really get it! I’m originally an East Coast guy from Washington D.C., and I enjoy traveling, spending time with my family, walking my two dogs and listening and playing music.
