About My Clients
I work best with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, identity exploration, life transitions, and the lasting impact of difficult experiences. I especially enjoy supporting BIPOC individuals seeking a culturally responsive space where they feel seen, understood, and empowered. Together, we'll build insight, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change.
My Background and Approach
I am a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) graduate in Clinical Psychology with specialized training in providing culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and relationally focused care. My clinical experiences have allowed me to work with adolescents and adults across a range of concerns, including trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, identity development, relationship challenges, and the impact of systemic and cultural stressors on mental health. My approach is grounded in understanding each client as a whole person; not just their symptoms. I integrate relational and attachment-based perspectives with evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and motivational interviewing to create a collaborative and individualized therapeutic experience.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My personal and professional values are rooted in compassion, authenticity, equity, and the belief that every person deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued. I believe mental health care should honor the full context of a person’s life, including their culture, identity, relationships, lived experiences, and the systems that influence their well-being. I am passionate about advancing culturally responsive mental health care, reducing stigma around therapy, and increasing access to support for communities that have historically been underserved or overlooked. I support causes centered on social justice, racial equity, community healing, trauma-informed care, and empowerment. My work is especially informed by a commitment to supporting Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) communities while creating inclusive spaces for individuals of all backgrounds. I value platforms and organizations that promote mental health awareness, advocacy, education, and community engagement.
