About My Clients
I work with individuals, couples, and families across a wide range of concerns, including improving relationships, managing anxiety, identity formation, and navigating life transitions. Many come to therapy wanting to better understand themselves, improve communication, and develop healthier ways to cope with stress and emotional challenges. I understand that reaching out for support can feel uncomfortable, and I strive to meet you with empathy, respect, authenticity, and cultural sensitivity.
My Background and Approach
I take a person-centered approach to therapy, creating a safe, nonjudgmental, and collaborative space where you can feel accepted, seen, and heard as you explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences at your own pace. While my foundation is rooted in a humanistic approach, I also integrate techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and other evidence-based practices to meet your unique needs. My goal is to build a strong therapeutic relationship where you feel accepted and empowered to better understand yourself, navigate challenges, and create meaningful change. I believe that healing begins in a space where you feel truly understood, and I am here to walk alongside you in that process. I bring valuable life experience that helps me understand the complexities people face and meet clients with empathy, authenticity, and care.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I strongly believe that healthy communication is a foundation of healthy relationships and emotional well-being. I value diversity, authenticity, and open-mindedness, and I strive to create a safe, respectful, and affirming environment where individuals from all backgrounds and identities feel heard, supported, and empowered.
