Cognitive behavioral therapy is used to assist individuals with reducing depression and anxiety symptoms. I provide psychoeducation on how negative thinking impacts behaviors and mood. In therapy we'll work together to identify negative thoughts and behaviors. The goal is to increase logical realistic thoughts, provide insight into behaviors and improve mood.

Do you dwell on the past or worry about the future? Do you have difficulty stopping your thoughts? Mindfulness is a way of learning to stay in the present moment and increasing control over your thoughts.

This is an empathetic, non-judgmental, motivational therapy. It's used to help individuals increase self-awareness, improve self-esteem and improves the ability to make changes.

Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy This is very helpful for those who have experienced a traumatic event. It helps desensitize emotions about the event, increases insight and positive beliefs and reprocesses painful memories to be less impactful.
