Life is about living and learning, when we all face challenges counseling can provide tremendous support and resolution. As an LCSW in practice since 1988, I offer proven treatments that are effective with short term counseling. Trauma, Pain management, Military issues, Military Sexual Trauma and Couples issues are speciality areas where support is provided.
My Background and Approach
As an LCSW in practice since 1988, I offer proven treatments that are effective with short term counseling. EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Traumatic Incident Reduction are very effective for trauma, anxiety, grief and insomnia. Trauma resolution is achieved in 1 to 5 sessions, not months or years. Pain management is also offered with Alpha Stim M, a painless and quick treatment for reducing or eliminating a variety of pain issues including nerve pain. I have worked with the military stateside and overseas for over a decade, providing counseling support to active duty Special Operations and their families. Helping individuals and families with relationships issues, anger, anxiety, combat trauma, chronic pain and MST, has been a focus of my practice. My goal is to support the individual in gaining insight and strength to resolve the issues that have been negatively impacting their lives. Reducing and eliminating symptoms is very attainable using our treatment methods.
