My Background and Approach
My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), somatic and mindfulness-based interventions, and attachment-focused approaches. Together we'll explore how past experiences may be influencing your present challenges while developing practical tools for lasting change. Message for a free consultation. My approach is person-centered, humanistic, and systemically-conscious. Sessions are collaborative, allowing us to achieve your goals together in a supportive, non-judgmental space. I practice eclectically as every person and situation is unique. My training and experience includes cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based CBT, trauma-focused CBT, DBT skills, solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT),narrative therapy, and group therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I try to be two things always (with some struggle at times): genuine and kind. I believe in equality and collaboration amongst people, and strive to advocate for marginalized and underserved populations. We are all at some intersection of race, gender, age, ability, age, etc. and we all benefit from supporting one another.
