About My Clients
I am a body-centered and spiritually-oriented therapist who sees clients via video in California and Vermont. I work with women and LGBTQ people. My practice is explicitly anti-racist and affirming for people of color. Special areas of focus include working with spiritual emergence, codependency, trauma, addiction, eating disorders, gender transition, depression, anxiety, and foster care-related issues.
My Background and Approach
I am an AEDP trained therapist who blends relationally-based psychotherapy with emotional regulation skills drawn from yoga, meditation, and mindfulness. I practice a somatic (body-centered) and transpersonal (spiritual) approach to mental health and wellness. My approach is a blend of highly collaborative trauma-informed, recovery-based, and emotion-focused interventions. I have trained with some of the top trauma therapists in the country including Bruce Perry, Diana Fosha, and Alicia Lieberman. I am a certified Integral Yoga Instructor and often incorporate knowledge about spiritual experience gained from my own experience of meditation and energy psychology. I speak English and incorporate French and Spanish into sessions with clients who are bilingual.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that EVERYONE can heal and that trust and safety are the most important ingredients in the therapeutic relationship. In couples work, I excel at helping each individual step into their truth while meeting their partner with love, compassion, and appreciation.
