About My Clients
My clients are people who's lives have been noticeably affected by a decline in their mental health. Their symptoms have become more disruptive over time and may affect sleep patterns, appetite, or energy levels. They find that work and relationships have become increasingly difficult to maintain. They are ready feel better, improve daily functioning, and return to their normal lives.
My Background and Approach
I am a Board Certified Psychiatrist with over 25 years of experience working with patients with mental health issues and concerns. Prior to serving psychiatric patients, I spent my time working in internal medicine. My background helped to shape my commitment to practicing holistic medicine. I attribute the successful treatment of thousands of patients over the years to the fact that I see the patient as more than a patient. I see my patients as human beings. This allows me to empathize and connect with the friends, family, and world that surround my patients in their everyday life. My commitment is to help patients live a productive and healthy life in society.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am interested in suicide prevention. I advocate for increased awareness about suicide and the populations that are being silently affected. I believe Latinx people deserve quality mental health treatment just like everyone else. I love being able to work with patients and their families in both English and Spanish.
