I work best with adults, especially women, immigrants, and children of immigrants, who are navigating major life transitions. Whether you are recovering from divorce, burning out from carrying too much for too long, wrestling with your identity across cultures, or rebuilding after a career setback, you belong here. My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience in hospital, community, and telehealth settings. I specialize in life transitions, burnout, divorce recovery, and the unique pressures of navigating multiple cultural identities. My approach is integrative and I tailor evidence-based tools to what actually fits your life, not a one-size-fits-all method. I am also fully virtual, which means quality care meets you wherever you are.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that people are far more resilient than they give themselves credit for, and that healing is not a luxury. It is something everyone deserves access to. My work is rooted in that conviction. I am a proud supporter of the Black Lives Matter movement and believe that mental health care must be understood within the context of systemic racism, generational trauma, and the very real weight that Black and brown communities carry. Creating affirming, culturally responsive space is not an add-on for me. It is central to how I practice. I am also deeply committed to the wellbeing of immigrant communities and diaspora populations. As someone with strong ties to both the United States and West Africa, I understand firsthand what it means to hold multiple worlds at once and to build identity at the intersection of cultures. Outside of the therapy room, I am passionate about women's empowerment, financial literacy, and helping women build lives that are stable and fulfilling.
