About My Clients
I work with adults, couples, and adolescents with a range of life challenges, including depression, anxiety, and panic management, relationship and interpersonal issues, life changes and adjustments, and PTSD and trauma. I am passionate about helping people begin healing from trauma, improve their interpersonal relationships, and work towards the best version of themselves.
My Background and Approach
I consider my practice to be person-centered, and am also certified in The Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 1 and am in progress on Level 2, so I also integrate many research-backed interventions for improving interpersonal relationships with individuals and also with couples. I believe that you are the expert in your life, and will work collaboratively with you to set goals for your therapy journey. I am currently a student at Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology, and have built upon my previous experience as a counselor in an inpatient setting to be able to provide the best trauma-informed care.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My goal is to create a space for you to join me in a collaborative healing process, where you feel appreciated and heard. I have a strong belief in resiliency and building upon your strengths in your therapy journey. I am an animal lover and the ocean is my happy place. Walking my dog by the ocean is my favorite grounding tool! I so look forward to working together to begin this journey for you!
