The goal is to re-experience yourself in new ways. Life is too short to not experience the best version of yourself. To be free of bad relationships, emotional pain, anxiety, anger, to not let trauma control you. I want to guide you to be able to live life on your own terms and to learn to navigate your feelings and experiences in the healthiest way possible. To help you find meaning in yourself, family, friends, relationships, work, spirituality and other areas of life.
My Background and Approach
My approach is client centered, warm, humorous and empowering. I like to meet my patients where they are at. I utilized modalities such as strength based, CBT ( Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), psychodynamic, mindfulness techniques, trauma informed and holistic approaches.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
One of the bravest things you can do is begin to understand your own story. The thought of therapy can be scary for a lot of people. As a clinician I try to keep this in mind and once in a while add a dash of humor to the sessions. Therapy does not need to be boring, painful or a one sided conversation. I want to help you achieve the life changes that you are looking for while enjoying the process of therapy as much as possible.
