About My Clients
Sometimes our brain feels like all the files are open, things are on fire, and papers are everywhere and we’re not sure where to even start. You’re here at that start! I like to think of therapy as sort of our time to do “self-audit” and take a moment to zoom out at what’s happening in our lives and make sure we’re going the direction we planned-and if not-figuring out what turns we need to make. My aim is to create a space where you can feel fully yourself-supported, understood, and empowered.
My Background and Approach
I pull mostly from EMDR, ACT, CBT, and ego state work—but at the core, my approach is about understanding your story, helping you feel grounded, and finding creative ways to express what you’ve been carrying. I like to incorporate media-movies, music, art- as ways of exploring ourselves and adding meaning to our experiences.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I went into therapy because I love humans and life and all the meaningful ways we connect in our experiences. We all navigate through our stories in different ways for different reasons, and we all deserve the chance to find purpose and fulfillment in those stories.
