About My Clients
I am dedicated to creating a welcoming space for people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, cultural backgrounds, spiritual and religious experiences, and relational styles to feel comfortable and accepted. I work primarily with couples wanting to build trust and deepen their connection as equal partners. I have particular experience with, and am affirming of, LGBTQ and non-monogamous relationships, as well as faith transitions.
My Background and Approach
I believe that relationships are largely the key to how we experience life. In relationship to others throughout our lives, we understand who we are and discover our truths. Through an attachment lens, I enjoy accompanying individuals and intimate partners on their journey to leading rich and fulfilling lives as their most authentic selves. I value authenticity, growth, presence, and learning from and with each other in our diverse life experiences. It is through the process of creating emotional safety for exploration and deep emotional expression that clients can enjoy increased self-awareness and acceptance, as well as trust, security, and deep intimacy in relationships.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that all people are deserving of opportunity, empathy, and respect. I recognize that we still have far to go to make the world a safe and welcoming place for the LGBTQ community, people of color, and those who don't fit cleanly into the mainstream culture. There should be no place for white supremacy, misogyny, homophobia, or oppression of any kind. We are all stronger when there is safety and space for difference and diversity.
