My Background and Approach

Hello and thank you for considering me as a partner in your care! I am a therapist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), and Perinatal Mental Health Specialist (PMH-C) seeking to support your emotional health needs, encourage your continued growth, and help you attain your goals. I seek to bridge the intersection of mental and physical health while providing effective, culturally competent support that is centered on your goals, values, and needs. I have years of experience supporting individuals as they face life's many joys and myriad heartbreaks. I am skilled in treating mood/anxiety disorders, interpersonal conflicts, relationship challenges, generalized stressors, medical/physical health challenges, and perinatal bereavement. Throughout the years, I have provided individual and group therapy in a number of settings including: Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), community-based mental health centers, nonprofit agencies, in-home/community-based therapy, and private practices.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I pull from a number of frameworks including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Mindfulness-Based Skills and believe in contextual therapeutic treatment that takes into account a person's entire lifespan, interpersonal relationships, family of origin, values, spiritual/religious beliefs and broader cultural context.
