About My Clients
I have been presented a wide range of emotional and behavioral concerns by my clients. With clients who request behavioral change, I often use cognitive behavioral therapy to facilitate this. Emotionally based distress may require a more extensive historical reflection to find alternative ways of viewing trauma and distress to begin the healing process.
My Background and Approach
For over thirty years I have offered compassionate, solution focused therapy to individuals, couples and families who are changing their lives. Many experienced trauma, a painful loss or difficulty in becoming true to themselves. For some, anxiety, depression or debilitating anger create roadblocks to happiness and connection. Others may be managing health issues, having problems with communication, intimacy, gender identification or sexual behavior concerns. It continues to be a privilege and an honor to be asked to walk with them through to happier, more fulfilled lives.
