About My Clients

I'm especially drawn to working with tweens, teens, and adults who are thoughtful, curious, and open to exploring themselves and their experiences. You may be navigating anxiety, grief, relationships, identity, or life transitions, but you have a desire to understand yourself and make meaningful changes. You don't need to have all the answers or know where to begin—just a willingness to explore, reflect, and grow.

My Background and Approach

I'm a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Maryland and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). My work is grounded in a relational, integrative approach, drawing from attachment theory, psychodynamic perspectives, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care. I work with tweens, teens, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. I believe meaningful change begins with understanding ourselves more deeply. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor our work to your unique experiences, needs, and goals. I bring warmth, curiosity, compassion, and thoughtful exploration into our sessions, helping you recognize patterns, develop insight, and discover new ways of relating to yourself and others. My goal is not to tell you who to become, but to help you find your own way forward.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I'm an optimist at heart. I believe in our capacity to grow, change, and create meaningful lives. I find beauty in unexpected places and love exploring life's deeper questions about purpose, spirituality, life, and death. My Jewish faith inspires my appreciation for questioning, reflection, and gratitude. I can sit in the darkness without losing sight of the light. Humor is one of my superpowers—a way to diffuse tension, find perspective, and cope with life's challenges. There's room for playfulness and silliness in therapy, even when we're exploring difficult things. I'm also an artist, storyteller, and lifelong dreamer who loves astrology, mermaids, knitting, crochet, period dramas, crime documentaries, and all things medieval. I value curiosity, authenticity, individuality, and the beauty of our different stories.
