About My Clients
You don’t have to fit yourself, your identity, or your relationships into someone else’s idea of “normal.” I offer a relaxed, collaborative space where you can show up as you are—even if that includes colorful language, complicated relationships, messy feelings, or thoughts that go in six directions at once. Together, we’ll get curious about what’s happening, understand the patterns keeping you stuck, and figure out what feels right for you.
My Background and Approach
I’m an LMFT-Associate with a systemic approach, meaning I’m interested not only in what you’re experiencing, but in the relationships, experiences, identities, and patterns that have shaped you. My work draws from Emotionally Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and other approaches depending on what fits you—not the other way around. I’m collaborative, curious, direct when it’s helpful, and not afraid of humor or colorful language. I especially enjoy working with LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent clients, polyamory/ENM, kink, intimacy and sexuality, and relationships outside traditional expectations. Therapy with me isn’t about becoming a more “acceptable” version of yourself. It’s about understanding yourself and your patterns more deeply so you can make intentional choices about what comes next.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people make the most sense when we understand them in context. The ways we cope, communicate, protect ourselves, and connect with others usually developed for a reason—even when they’re no longer working for us. I don’t believe there is one “right” way to be a person, build a relationship, create a family, or live a meaningful life. Therapy shouldn’t be about making you fit someone else’s expectations. I believe in curiosity over judgment, autonomy over conformity, and making room for complexity and contradiction. You are the expert on your life; my role is to help you notice patterns, ask different questions, challenge what may no longer serve you, and create more freedom to decide what you want your life and relationships to look like.
