About My Clients

I work with late-diagnosed autistic and ADHD adults who may feel overwhelmed, burned out, misunderstood, or disconnected from themselves after years of masking or struggling to meet expectations. Many of my clients experience anxiety, depression, trauma, executive functioning difficulties, or relationship stress. I provide a compassionate, neuro-affirming space where clients can better understand themselves, build coping skills, and move toward a more authentic and sustainable life.

My Background and Approach

I provide compassionate, neuro-affirming therapy for autistic and ADHD adults across Texas and Arkansas. My approach is collaborative, affirming, and grounded in evidence-based practices including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), CBT, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness-based strategies. I specialize in working with late-diagnosed adults navigating masking, executive functioning challenges, anxiety, depression, trauma, identity exploration, and burnout. As a neurodivergent therapist, I understand the importance of creating a space where clients feel genuinely understood rather than judged or pathologized. My goal is to help clients build self-understanding, emotional resilience, healthier relationships, and a more sustainable way of living that honors their needs and values.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy should be a collaborative and compassionate process that helps people better understand themselves rather than feel judged or “fixed.” I value authenticity, curiosity, and creating a space where clients feel safe exploring their emotions, relationships, identity, and life experiences at their own pace. My work is grounded in a neurodiversity-affirming perspective that recognizes differences in thinking, communication, and sensory experiences as valid aspects of human diversity. Outside of counseling, I enjoy reading, writing, learning, and spending time in nature. I have a strong interest in psychology, trauma recovery, neurodivergence, and lifelong learning. I also value creativity, reflection, and meaningful connection, all of which influence the warm and thoughtful approach I bring to therapy.
