About My Clients
I seek to work with patients who are ready to start the process of self-exploration and may be experiencing uncomfortable emotions. I aim to work with you through life uncertainties and emotional challenges that get in the way of the day-to-day. The sessions will be a place where together, we can untangle those difficult emotions and work towards a better self while providing you with a safe space.
My Background and Approach
My clinical experience has provided me with extensive experience with individuals struggling with severe trauma, life transitions, mental illness, and chronic medical conditions. My training and clinical practice have afforded me the honor of working in several outpatient clinics, medical floors, and inpatient facilities, making my approach well-rounded, collaborative and holistic. A holistic approach seeks to understand how psychological, biological, and social factors influence your overall surroundings and wellbeing. In addition, my therapeutic approach not only integrates practical clinical skills and interventions but also explores a combination of modern approaches and more traditional therapeutic techniques.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
We can all benefit from talking and discussing those emotional and cognitive challenges that affect our day to day. An important goal of therapy is that, together, we will strengthen your ability to manage and understand your emotions, thoughts, and behaviors.
