My Background and Approach
I am a Nationally Certified, Licensed Professional Counselor with over 18 years of experience. I specialize in working with people who want to experience less conflict and more connection with others, as well as a greater comfort with their authentic Selves. I am an IFS-informed practitioner, having received my initial training with Derek Scott through IFSCA, and then continuing my training through the IFS Institute’s Online Circle program. As a therapist, I am dedicated to consistently deepening my own Self-awareness and growing my understanding of privilege and social constructs that impact all of us. As such, I genuinely understand the risk and vulnerability experienced in the therapeutic process.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone can change and grow at any time in their lives. I also believe that every single person can benefit from therapy, when matched with the right therapist for them. I don't discriminate against anyone. I make it a point to participate in marches and community actions that support BIPOC and the LGBTQ community. I am dedicated to constantly growing my own self-awareness and genuinely understand the risk and vulnerability experienced in the therapeutic process.
