About My Clients
Are you a stressed-out grad student or are you dealing with a major life overhaul? Our lives are full of change and change is tough but a tremendous chance for reflection and growth. I help adults navigate transitions in their lives and to feel empowered making changes in their relationships, career or personal goals. I work successfully with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship and family struggles, self-esteem issues and grief and loss.
My Background and Approach
I'm a recent transplant to Colorado. In May 2021, my family and I decided to take the leap on a new adventure and relocated from Ann Arbor, Mi to Denver. I love hiking, exploring the city and the almost constant sunshine. I have an office in central Denver, near Cherry Creek mall, as well as provide teletherapy for Denver folks who prefer the convenience of meeting virtually. I have always specialized in working with young adults and my work with UM college and graduate students remains strong. In addition to my availability in CO and MI, I am also licensed to provide therapy in IL. I have a bachelor's degree from University of Michigan and a masters in social work from University of Chicago. I use a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and behavioral strategies for symptom relief and fuller life satisfaction, with an insight-oriented approach to help you better understand unhealthy choices or repetitive patterns in your life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe there are unending ways to build a happy and healthy life and the biggest perk to being an adult is that we get to pick our own journey forward.
