About My Clients
If you need someone who can help you heal from trauma or learn how to be more focused and less impulsive or if you need someone who can help you with your self-harm behavior, give me a call. I work with adults and teens.
My Background and Approach
I strive to work with you to achieve your goals, keeping in mind that you are the expert on your feelings and experiences. I aim to help you learn how to help yourself. I have extensive experience working with people who have survived childhood trauma and I have an exceptional understanding of attention deficit disorders.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in a secular approach to psychotherapy and helping you use your strengths to further develop your potential and address the issues that challenge you. I believe that although we are all individuals and there is no one-size-fits-all approach, there are many things that are universal experiences and unite us. We may each grieve in different ways over losses we face, but the emotions are universal. What comforts one person may be unhelpful to another, but we all have a need for acceptance and belonging. I have participated in supporting organizations that support foster children and foster parents, find homes for rescued animals, and advocating for mental health awareness.
