My Background and Approach
I am a Washington State licensed mental health counselor, licensed since 2013, with 20 years of experience across agency, group, private practice, and digital wellness. I tailor our work to you and pay attention to how thoughts, the body, and relationships pull on one another. Early work often focuses on immediate relief: settling the nervous system, loosening sticky thoughts, improving sleep and routines, and beginning to notice what spikes or soothes you. As steadiness grows, we explore deeper change: learned rules, defenses, attachment, and the loops that show up in relationships, including between us. I use clear, evidence based tools explained in plain language so they feel usable. Sessions are telehealth only for Washington residents. A free 15 minute consult is available if you would like to meet first.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe change sticks when it aligns with your values, not mine. My role is to help you notice what matters, reduce what gets in the way, and take small steps that fit real life. I practice with curiosity, kindness, and respect for your autonomy and lived experience.
