Anxious? Having relationship issues? Trying to figure out how to get "unstuck" and make decisions that are in line with your values? Navigating all of that is hard enough; doing it by yourself is even harder. Therapy provides a safe space to explore what's making you feel exhausted and anxious. Together we can find ways to get you closer to honoring your unique self in all of life's spaces (relationships, career, family, etc).
My Background and Approach
I work with adults, couples, and partners on a variety of issues including (but not limited to) Anxiety, Mood Dysregulation, Gender Identity, Race, Ethnicity & Culture, Relationships and Sex. My practice is: LGBTQIA affirming, Poly and Open relationship knowledgeable, and I work through a trauma-informed lens. Each person is unique and the pathways to wellness can be varied. This is why I describe my approach as eclectic and holistic. I pull on various frameworks and you are an active participant in collaborating in your experience in and out of sessions. Everyone faces difficult issues and choices throughout their lifetime and everyone can move closer towards a sense of wellness, balance, and greater self-efficacy. It is my hope that our alliance will assist you in navigating present and future life changes.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I focus my practice on serving clients who yearn to be seen and understood. I specialize in issues affecting LGTBTQ+, POC and Open&Poly communities because these are my communities. It is important that we have safe and affirming spaces with people that understand the unique set of concerns that affect these communities. As a therapist, to be able to provide this space is of the utmost importance.
