About My Clients
You might be overthinking everything and your mind won’t stop racing, or you might be heavy, slow, and struggling to feel anything at all. I specialize in working teens, young adults, and adults struggling with anxiety and depression. I have had the privilege of supporting clients from various communities, including BIPOC, immigrant, ENM, neurodivergent, and LGBTQIA+.
My Background and Approach
We’ll explore what’s beneath why you feel the way you do—not just through your thoughts, but also through your body—to help you shift what’s keeping you stuck at a more embodied level. I pull from a range of tools—Hakomi somatic therapy, EMDR Internal Family Systems, DBT, and attachment and early childhood experiences—to tailor a holistic approach that fits your needs. I’ll be honest with you, challenge you when you need it, and help you see the patterns you’re in. I’m here to meet you in this work with warmth, care, and deep investment in your healing. I may ask questions to help you challenge your inner critic. Or offer practical tools to build healthy habits and structure your day. Or facilitate a mindful, somatic exploration or explore inner child work. Whatever the process looks like, I’m here to help you move towards living the life you want.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I became a therapist because I have always been drawn to connecting with people, hearing their stories, and being a safe place for support. I honor and accept all that you bring—even the messy parts—and consider it a privilege to work with you and witness your growth. All parts of your identity are welcome here, including those you’re still exploring. I bring my perspective as a second-generation Chinese American cis-woman and am in close community with ENM, kink positive, LGBTQIA+, gender expansive, neurodivergent folks.
