About My Clients
I am selective with who I work with. Clients are self-motivated and often looking to find deeper meaning and purpose in their lives. Most also have a desire to find a way that they can help other people. This is one of my criteria: I have to think that the client is going to be able to go on and help someone else in some capacity that is unknown to me, but that will arise out of them working on themselves. I teach clients to do therapy on themselves.
My Background and Approach
"I earned my seat here the hard way." Everything that I do with clients comes from personal experience. If I suggest an intervention or practice it means I have tried it myself. I also have the degrees and credentials to go with this, but I am focused on results not theories. I'm curious what you will find for yourself and what you will become. That's interesting to me. The rest, the upsets, trauma, addictions, anxiety, anger, stress and struggles are pretty standard. I'm interested in what you bring to the table and how you will use that to help others and become who you want to be.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
"Beliefs aren't real." If they were real they wouldn't be beliefs. I focus on experience and evidence - both of which are real. My one and only motivation is to see the client become their most authentic self. Whoever that is and whatever that may look like to them. You get to choose. I can walk with you to find that out and I have a lot of experience in knowing how to look. Other than that, you are the expert on your own life.
