About My Clients

You may be dealing with trauma or PTSD, anxiety, ADHD, emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties, or a major life transition. Perhaps you feel stuck in cycles of worry, rumination, avoidance, burnout, or difficulty regulating emotions. I work with adults who want to better understand these patterns while developing practical ways to create change. Therapy is collaborative and individualized, with an emphasis on building skills, stability, healthier relationships, and greater confidence.

My Background and Approach

My path to counseling began after a 15-year career in the trades, when I returned to school and began working in behavioral health. My early experience included working as a Registered Behavior Technician with neurodivergent children, followed by earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Today, I primarily work with adults experiencing trauma and PTSD, anxiety, ADHD, emotional dysregulation, relationship concerns, and major life transitions. My approach is collaborative, practical, and individualized. I integrate evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, and strengths-based interventions. I believe effective therapy combines feeling genuinely heard with developing practical tools that can be used in everyday life.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy works best when you can show up as yourself without feeling judged or pressured to have everything figured out. I value honesty, humor, curiosity, and genuine human connection, and I try to bring those qualities into the therapy room. Outside of my professional work, I appreciate staying active, spending time outdoors, learning new things, and finding a healthy balance between responsibilities and actually enjoying life. I understand that opening up to someone new can feel uncomfortable, so I aim to make therapy feel approachable and conversational while still keeping our work focused on the changes that matter to you. You do not need to arrive knowing exactly what to say or where to begin. We can figure that out together, at a pace that feels manageable, while building practical skills and working toward a life that feels more balanced, meaningful, and authentic.
