About My Clients
I work with children, adolescents, adults, older adults living with chronic pain, and caregivers experiencing burnout. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, or major life adjustments. I provide both individual and group therapy in English and Spanish, offering culturally responsive support. Together, we focus on building coping skills, emotional resilience, and practical strategies to improve daily wellbeing.
My Background and Approach
I am a bilingual Mental Health Counselor fluent in English and Spanish. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Ana G. Méndez University and my Master of Science in Counselling Psychology from Carlos Albizu University in Puerto Rico. My clinical experience includes working with Spanish-speaking families, elderly clients living with chronic conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, and caregivers managing long-term stress and burnout. I integrate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Therapy, Reality Therapy, Play Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). My approach is compassionate and collaborative, focusing on practical tools that support emotional regulation, resilience, and improved quality of life across all stages of development.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that healing and growth are possible at every stage of life. Whether you are navigating childhood challenges, adult stress, chronic illness, or caregiver responsibilities, support can make a meaningful difference. Therapy offers a space to explore emotions, strengthen coping strategies, and reconnect with personal values. I strive to create a warm, culturally respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel understood and empowered. If you are ready to work toward greater balance and emotional wellbeing, I would be honored to support you.
