As a Licensed Family Therapist, I found a love for helping clients understand their family dynamics and how to maneuver them. This passion was then paired with my experience working at a Trauma clinic. Now, I assist clients in liberating themselves from the toxic patterns of their family and learning how to create and implement new, healthy patterns so they can pass on resilience instead of trauma.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I see people who are single and may not yet understand their worth or what they want in a relationship and thus find themselves constantly in the wrong relationships. Additionally, I work with persons in relationships that may not know how to communicate their needs to their partners and therefore those needs go unmet.

Anxiety tends to be how intergenerational trauma is passed down from one generation to the next. I have continued to make anxiety a topic of my research and utilize various tools to help clients both understand and manage their anxiety.

As a Clinical Traumatologist, I am always operating from a trauma perspective. I utilize various trauma techniques, such as Trauma Incident Reduction which is a form of exposure therapy with clients to assist them in healing their unresolved trauma.

During my Master's program in Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy, I was heavily trained and emerged in Family systems work. Whether working with an individual, couple, or family, my perspective is always from the greater systemic perspective. Therefore, in sessions, I teach my clients to become aware of their greater impact on the systems and the dynamics they influence.
